The annual Veterans Day Ceremony is a special event open to the public honoring all those veterans who have served in the country’s military forces, as well as those men and women who are serving today.

Veterans Day Celebration – Round Rock Texas
Come join Round Rock’s first annual Veterans Day Celebration at Yonders Point Venue in Old Settlers Park on Friday, November 11 starting at 11 am. They will have their formal ceremony beginning at 11 am at Flag Plaza with Round Rock Mayor & City Council Members, Stony Point JROTC, and guest speaker US Army Futures Command Sergeant Major Brian Hester.
Immediately following the ceremony, there will be refreshments provided by Texas Fallen Project and Share the Will organizations.

Veterans Day 2022 events in Austin – Veteran’s Day Concert
Join this event on November 13 for a concert led by members of the Veteran’s Guitar Project at 4 pm. This concert is free and open to the public. The program will include covers, original songs, and a special feature by the band South Train.
The Veteran’s Guitar Project and Women’s Veterans Guitar Project each meet weekly at Armstrong Community Music School (ACMS), for fellowship and music-making.
Free group guitar lessons are co-led by ACMS teaching artists and a chaplain. Performances combine storytelling and song to bring healing to the musicians and audience and feature original songs written by participants.

Veterans Day 2022 events in Austin
16th Annual “Heroes and Hot Rods” Veterans Day Cruise-In and Car Show
Festivities begin on Friday evening AT 4 PM with the Cruise-In on Historic Main Street in Downtown Bastrop, TX. Come hang out as visitors watch classic cars roll into town. This is a great opportunity to snag photos of your favorite car and talk to the fine folks displaying them. Saturday’s Car Show begins bright and early at 7:30 AM.
This event is expected to attract 400 cars that will be displayed along the historic downtown Main Street, side streets & parking lots. *Please note, you must pre-register in advance of the car show.
When: Friday, November 11 (4:00 pm – 10:00 pm) – Saturday, November 12 (7:30 am – 4:00 pm)

The 6th Annual 5k Veterans Day Fun Run in Hutto
The run kicks off at 8:30 am sharp, but you should plan to be there between 6:30 am and 7:30 am. There will be plenty of parking, so invite your friends and coworkers to participate or support the runners. Please make sure you are early, so you have plenty of time to check in, visit with vendors, socialize and enjoy the pre-run treats without feeling rushed.
After the run, stick around to take pictures and enjoy the post-run glass of wine. They will have a photographer at the race that will take pictures at the finish line.
The 5k is a family-friendly and pet-friendly event so bring your children, grandparents, and pets.
The event will wrap up around 12 pm, but you’re welcome to spend the rest of the day relaxing in the park or visiting the nearby businesses.

The City of Kyle will be hosting a Veterans Day Parade and festivities on Saturday, Nov. 12 starting at noon to honor local veterans. After the parade, participants and citizens are invited to attend the festivities at Mary Kyle Hartson Park. The day will include live music, market vendors, and family-friendly activities.
The city of Austin veterans day parade will begin at 12 pm.

The Rebirth: A Veterans Day Celebration exploring psychedelic medicine
Conventional treatments are not adequately helping our veterans. Join this event this Veterans Day as it examines the role psychedelics may play in healing wounded brothers and sisters.
Starting at the State Theatre at the Paramount, there will be a screening of the documentary film From Shock to Awe, which details the lives of US combat veterans and their transformational healing journeys with alternative medicines.

Austin Veterans Day Parade & Ceremony
The annual Veterans’ Day Parade is usually held on November 11 of each year, in downtown Austin, Texas. The event kicks off at 9:30 AM from the Ann Richards / Congress Avenue Bridge and travels up to the Texas State Capitol Building. Viewing is available all along Congress Avenue and there will be a reviewing stand at the Stephen F. Austin Hotel at Congress and 7th.
This year’s theme for the Travis County and City of Austin Veterans’ Day Parade and Memorial Ceremony at the South Steps of the State Capitol will be announced after the events are approved.
Many people will be wearing or passing out red poppies. The practice of wearing poppies takes its origin from the poem In Flanders Fields, written in 1915 by John McCrae.
