Their holiday tree lighting event will kick off the rest of the Christmas festivities. Catch it at Fisherman’s Park and even expect a special visit from the big man in red.

The next days after that, there will be the Farm Street Opry, a country Christmas, and the Lost Pines Christmas Lighted Parade. Get ready for days of merry fun!

Kick off the festivities at Hutto with their annual Christmas tree lighting event!

Get ready to feel the holiday spirit with the largest man-made holiday tree in Austin!

Standing at 155 feet tall, the tree is made of over 3000 lights and built on one of Austin’s 17 historic moontowers. Access to the holiday tree is free and separate from the Trail of Lights admission.

Aside from the spectacular lighting of the tree, there will be food vendors and other merchants at the site to make sure you really feel the cheer of the holiday season.

Ice Rink at the Long Center

Get ready for a magical skating experience at the Long Center because Geoji will be bringing the famous Rockefeller Center experience here to Austin!

Safer Together Benefit Concert

Attend a night of great music while contributing for a great cause at the Safer Together Benefit Concert! The event will help raise awareness and funds for SIMS so they can continue their work providing mental health and substance use recovery services to the music industry and their dependent family members.

The concert also aims to help spread awareness about overdose death prevention. The concert series will feature multiple performances across three locally owned and operated music venues including Mohawk (Indoor), The Green Jay, and Empire (Garage). The all-encompassing Christmas-themed pop-up will feature Christmas tunes, Christmas drinks and more tinsel, Santa and his elves, halls decked with baubles, bows, hanging trees, wreaths, and just about every festive goodie. Grab your friends and enjoy a wonderful night here!

Feel the Christmas spirit come alive at the Lost Pines Christmas Tree Lighting Party!

After the Bastrop River of Lights (which you also can’t miss), their holiday tree lighting event will kick off the rest of the Christmas festivities. Catch it at Fisherman’s Park and even expect a special visit from the big man in red.

The next days after that, there will be the Farm Street Opry, a country Christmas, and the Lost Pines Christmas Lighted Parade. Get ready for days of merry fun!

Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox: A Very Postmodern Christmas

Listen to the crooning voice of their amazing singers and the soothing music of their amazing musicians this weekend at the Paramount Theatre. This will be an unforgettable Christmas trip back in time.

Calling all bikers out there! The Austin Ridge Riders will be holding a day of riding, trail maintenance, and socializing at their annual Cranksgiving event.

Riding will start at 9:30 a.m. with the last laps starting around 2 p.m. With each lap you complete, you’ll earn a raffle ticket. You can also complete some of the work stations along the trail to earn additional tickets.

Sense and Sensibility by Austin Shakespeare

Get to enjoy Jane Austen’s clever and comedic storytelling with this tale of two sisters and three gentlemen.

Here, sisters Elinor Dashwood, the sensible one, and Marianne Dashwood, the impulsive one, meet the wildly romantic John Willoughby, the reserved Mr. Edward Ferrars, and the more mature Colonel Brandon. Watch and see how their relations evolve.

The story will be brought to life by a diverse cast of 17 actors and will feature dazzling Regency costumes and dances.

Just because Halloween is over doesn’t mean the scares stop even with the holidays coming up, especially with the 8th annual Horror for the Holidays event, the biggest horror-themed Christmas market in Austin. It’s back in the city to spread some holiday fear with wickedly fun events.

Enjoy killer fun with friends at all the attractions and the Krampus parade. And grab some photos with the hoards of creatures walking throughout the venue. And, of course, don’t forget to check out all the dark vendors offering T-shirts, apparel, collectibles, vinyl, art, gifts, and so much more!

56th Zilker Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony

Get ready to feel the holiday spirit with the largest man-made holiday tree in Austin!

Standing at 155 feet tall, the tree is made of over 3000 lights and built on one of Austin’s 17 historic moontowers. Access to the holiday tree is free and separate from the Trail of Lights admission.

Aside from the spectacular lighting of the tree, there will be food vendors and other merchants at the site to make sure you really feel the cheer of the holiday season.

When: Sunday, November 27, 2022 | 6 p.m. – 12 a.m.
