Frost Bank Cookies with Santa

Cookies and Santa. What better way to start your weekend with the kiddos? Head over to Frost Bank for a day of holiday cheer. They’ll have plenty of tasty cookies and a special appearance by Mr. Claus! Take your family and friends and don’t forget to take photos!

Refugee Holiday Arts & Crafts Bazaar

The East Communities YMCA is turning into an international bazaar this weekend for the Refugee Holiday Arts and Crafts Bazaar.

Purchase all sorts of handmade goods, from jewelry to clothes to candles to decor to art! This event will feature the work of refugees from Cuba, Afghanistan, and Ukraine who have recently settled in Austin.

Shop for cool stuff and help the communities in need.

Burnet Trail of Lights

Burnet Square will be a twinkling wonderland. Come by and let the Christmas spirit fill your hearts.

Holiday sculptures are created with thousands of lights, including a lighted tunnel (perfect for family photo ops!) They’ll even have static and moving displays, adding to the magic your kiddies will experience. On the east entrance of the courthouse, a beautifully decorated Christmas tree will greet you.

The magic starts on the east end of Wallace Riddell Park, continues to Main and Washington Streets, and Jackson Street, and ends at Hamilton Creek Park.

While it’s possible to walk the Burnet Trail of Lights, you might want to consider driving to each location and parking. You can park in the Square, take in the courthouse, and then walk to Hamilton Creek Park before or after visiting Wallace Riddell Park.

Lights Spectacular

See Lights Spectacular this weekend with the family. “The Twinklest Town in Texas” has over two million Christmas lights, making it visible in space!

Walk the historic square off Main Street, Memorial Park, and PEC headquarters with family and take in the cheerful holiday vibes. Be on the lookout for The Clauses too! You might be able to take some photos with them.

Pictures with Santa!

Make your kids’ holidays extra special with photos with Santa!

A minimum of five professional photos will be taken. You can get digital downloads for a price and also choose among a wide array of photo products.

You’ll then be emailed a private viewing gallery within two days. Cost is $20 per child.

North Pole Flyer

Hop aboard the North Pole Flyer for a holiday excursion! This two-hour trip features Mr. and Mrs. Clause, unlimited hot cocoa, live balloon twisters, caroling, and locally baked holiday cookies! You will also enjoy a live reading of the North Pole Flyer’s own Christmas story.

Cars are festively decorated, making this a perfect opportunity to take some holiday pictures too.

Tickets will get you on board to enjoy all entertainment, photos with Santa and letters to him, a cookie from Mrs. Claus, a gift for kids under 13, and a coloring sheet with crayons.

Christmas Lights in the Village offers an immersive experience complete with lights, storytelling, and fun activities. Families have tons to do like riding the Christmas train, going to the petting zoo, visiting Santa’s workshop, eating yummy food, and watching live choir performances.

Join Emily and Jack on their journey of discovering the true spirit of Christmas, ending a grand tree lighting ceremony. They will also lead you on a special scavenger hunt throughout the village
