The 2023 Austin Labor Day Cup is an excellent opportunity for U9-U19 girls & boys teams to prepare for their various fall competitions. As a “tune-up” for the fall season and the start of a new soccer season, this will be their chance to evaluate new players and teams against stiff competition in the largest soccer tournament in Austin and the Central Texas area.

From April 17-22, St. Edward’s University will have events on campus with the highlight being the Earth Day Fair on April 21! The Fair will be held at Andre Lawn from 11 am-3 pm. On April 29th, Arbor Day, they will celebrate the trees that make our campus such a special place and play such a key role in their carbon sequestration. There will be a “Tree TLC” workshop and a planting of a tree on their core campus.

Join Rowing Dock for their second annual community-wide Earth Day lake and land clean up along Lady Bird Lake! Volunteers will have the option to launch from one of three locations: Rowing Dock (West end), Epic SUP (East end), and on the trail at Sand Beach Park (Central). From there, you’ll select whether you would like to pick up trash by boat or by walking trails along the river.

Visitors will be able to tour zero energy-capable homes that can save carbon dioxide emissions from the equivalent of 233,718 pounds of coal burned over the course of 30 years. The first 100 visitors will receive a free sapling tree!

There are so many free fitness classes in Austin to choose from, you’ll be able to work out on the cheap almost every day of the week without the need for an expensive gym membership.

There are so many places in Austin to work out for free, there’s just never an excuse to miss a Monday! Or a Tuesday- or any day of the week! We’ve rounded up all the free workouts we can find. Most workouts are good for people 18+ but some of the classes accept younger people- just ask!
