Calling all foodies! Have you heard of Taster’s Table Club? It’s a group that dines together monthly at new and delicious restaurants around Austin. The types of restaurants cross a wide range of tastes, to offer variety and style for each member.

Perfect Pairings

Established in 2015, Taster’s Table Club partners with local restaurants to coordinate the monthly dinners, offering a unique variety of establishments to explore.

It began with two local entrepreneurs, Max Kunik and Matt Wolski, who possessed complimentary skills and a shared interest. Kunik’s experience with food events coupled with Wolski’s expertise in social media marketing gave them the perfect palette to create an answer to their problem: how can we continue to dine with our friends regularly without such a high cost? Enter Taster’s Table Club.

On the third Tuesday of each month, Taster’s Table Club hosts four to five dinners with approximately 8-12 members each, throughout the city at different restaurants. This gives members the opportunity to choose the taste and location best for them.

Taster’s Table Club strives to provide their members with the best value, so the restaurants they visit tend to range from mid- to high-end establishments. They mix it up with a blend of new and trendy places, as well as some that aren’t as commonly frequented, but offer the same tasty quality.

Additionally, Taster’s Table Club partners with Beam Suntory and Glazer’s. Beam Suntory serves as the official welcome cocktail liquor sponsor, while Glazer’s provides wine for any establishment without a liquor license. The club offers a welcome signature cocktail each month that members receive upon arrival, thanks to these partnerships.

Taster’s Table Club focuses on providing new and high-quality dining experiences for their members, while ensuring the experience at each restaurant can be replicated by members in the future. This means no specialty menus. This design enables members to get a true taste of what the restaurant offers on a regular basis.

The club runs a monthly subscription model, with three tiers of pricing. The most affordable is the 12-month plan at $45 per month. This includes each restaurant’s six+ course tasting menu, tax and tip. Members can try the premium menus for an additional fee.

Taster’s Table Club currently has more than 50 members, with the capacity to continue growing. While members get to meet new people at every dinner, a sense of community develops around a shared flavor palette. Members get to know one another by sharing multiple meals together.

Plans to Expand

Taster’s Table Club’s success stems from the love of food and the budding, entrepreneurial spirit inherent to the culture of Austin. The club plans to expand their services to include dietary restrictions, such as vegetarian and gluten-free.

More events are in the pipeline to get all members together quarterly, in one place. Such a unique and delicious club fits perfectly with the nature of Austin: a city known for food, fun and meeting new people!
