One of the best policies in Austin is our BYOB policy. All over town, plenty of restaurants offer some sort of BYOB. Whether it’s bring your own beer and wine, or beer, wine, and liquor, there’s BYOB fun for every taste.
Here are my top picks for BYOB in North Austin, in alphabetical order.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of Sixth Street, with its never-ending chain of bars, live music pounding from open windows, and bright neon signs, is a restaurant that is quiet, cozy and feels like home. Our home. For that’s exactly what Chez Nous, the name of this French bistro off Sixth Street, translates to: “our home”, or “our place.”
How can such a cozy family restaurant operate in the Dirty Sixth district? Parkside’s second floor patio overlooks historic 6th Street

Upon arriving at The Austin Winery, it’s clear that The Yard development in South Austin is going to be big. Currently home to businesses like St. Elmo Brewery, Vuka, Spokesman Coffee, and soon Still Austin Whiskey Co., the city’s first whiskey distillery, The Yard supports local while offering plenty to do.
Co-founders Ross McLauchlan and Cooper Anderson have been making wine since long before The Austin Winery had feet. With their balanced skill set and a gap in the Austin market, they enlisted the help of Matthew Smith, third co-founder and Chief of Operations, then opened their doors.

Dandy Rosé, made in Austin
Dandy Rosé is the only wine in the world made especially for Austinites. Its creator, Rae Wilson, has even more to brag about: this Austin-exclusive rosé is made from 100 percent Texas grapes.
