Prohibition Creamery Serves Booze-Infused Ice Cream in East Austin Bungalow
Austin is revered as one of the booziest American cities, hosting hundreds of bars to satisfy parched residents and tourists on steamy evenings during the summer months. In terms of other refreshing treats, Austin is also well-known for ice cream, snow cones, gelato and sorbet through establishments like Lick Honest Ice Creams and Dolce Neve.

Amy’s Ice Creams may have ruled small town Austin. But since its opening in 2011, Lick Honest Ice Creams has won the hearts–and bellies–of many. Move Over, Blue Bell! NadaMoo Is Coming Through
When I found out I was allergic to dairy, I was devastated. No more lattes, no more caprese salads and–worst of all–no more ice cream.
Until I found NadaMoo! I don’t dare tell people it’s vegan ice cream because there is still a stigma that vegan = no flavor. But this organic, dairy-free, coconut based frozen dessert is far from that stereotype. It’s amazing! And best of all, it’s local to Austin.

Moojo Brings Ice Cream Sandwiches to the Drag

Texas is notorious for its summer heat and no one likes to endure the upper 90 to 100 degree weather. But fortunately, in the heart of town–just across the street from The University of Texas at Austin–is a shop that sells not only refreshing ice cream sandwiches, but moments of joy. I’m talking about the newest addition to the Drag: Moojo.
