Lick Honest Ice Creams is known for scratch-made ice cream and use of local ingredients. The change in season calls for a change in seasonal flavors. The fall 2017 lineup has finally arrived!
Lick is happy to let you try any and all of the flavors before making the difficult decision of which scoop to choose. Here is a preview of the fall flavors that were just released. They’re only available for a limited time, so don’t miss out. Lick Honest Ice Creams now has three locations in its hometown of Austin: South Lamar, Burnet, and Mueller.
Fall Favorites
The Breakfast Bacon flavor is back and better than ever. The improved recipe has sweet hints of brown sugar and molasses, with Salt and Time bacon to add a subtle smokey flavor. I assumed the bacon would overpower the ice cream, but I was wrong. There’s a nice balance of salty and sweet. And I mean, it has bacon. Bacon always wins.
Another favorite is the S’more Meringue. Instead of marshmallows, Lick uses torched meringue. The ice cream base has honey, molasses, and cinnamon graham-cracker. The best part? The hints of dark chocolate throughout. Can I have s’more, please?
