The Austin Symphony Orchestra’s July 4th Concert & Fireworks at Vic Mathias Shores, starting at 4:30 pm, features live music, food, and family activities, culminating in a stunning fireworks display. Also, the Independence Day Festival at Hill Country Galleria offers another free event, featuring over 40 vendors, live music, kids’ rides, games, face painting, and an unforgettable fireworks finale.

Austin’s 27th Annual Juneteenth Celebration returns on Thursday, June 19, 2025, with the theme “Celebrating Freedom, Culture, and Community”. The day starts at 10 a.m. with a parade from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Salina Street, ending around noon at Rosewood Park. Afterward, Rosewood and Boggy Creek Park will host food, vendors, kids’ entertainment, and live music, including acclaimed southern soul artist Young Guy. The celebration concludes with fireworks at 9 p.m.
