Through this virtual celebration, we’re fundraising to scale our work in 2021 and implement new water systems for communities in great need of a reliable clean water source. Because of the spread of COVID-19 in East Africa and travel restrictions throughout the region, there are communities anxiously awaiting new water projects that have been put on hold.
Your support will not only help ensure we can reach those communities but continue to grow and scale our work, providing thousands of more people with lasting clean water as soon as it is safe to do so.

Well Aware is a 501(c)3 nonprofit headquartered in Austin, Texas. We fund and implement sustainable clean water systems to drive economic development and empower communities in East Africa. To date, we have transformed more than 270,000+ lives through clean water. But, we are not just a water charity. We are redefining the water aid industry and setting a new standard for efficiency and sustainability. On average, only 40% of water systems in Africa continue to function one year after implementation.
