Free Kids Events in Austin this Weekend
Hill Country Galleria Independence Day Festival
Shop over 40 vendors and Galleria boutiques, then enjoy live music in the Central Plaza from School of Rock, CAZAYOUX, Britny Lobas, Joe James, and Vallejo. Kids will love the fair rides, water games, and free face painting here, too!

Star Spangled Fest
This upcoming weekend, celebrate the 4th of July in spectacular style at the Star-Spangled Fest, which will transform The Long Center and Vic Mathias Shores into the ultimate celebration zone.
The place will be filled with local vendors, bustling bars, delicious food trucks like Amy’s Ice Cream and Burro Cheese Kitchen, plus a fantastic kids’ zone.
As for entertainment, the Shoreline Stage will kick off with rising star Calder Allen at 5:00 pm, followed by Mélat and Texas Female Artist of the Decade, Bri Bagwell.
The electrifying Peterson Brothers will then take the VIP Lawn Stage at 7:45 pm.
The evening culminates with the Austin Symphony Orchestra’s patriotic concert at 8:30 pm, leading into Austin’s most anticipated fireworks show at 9:30 pm, illuminating the downtown skyline.
