Be My Valentine Bash Speed Dating @ Higbie’s (Ages 25 – 39)

It might just be your year of venturing out on a speed dating exercise that ends in a good match. This pre-Valentine’s Day speed dating event for 25-39-year-old singletons promises some drinking, some dancing, and a series of romantic rotations. Besides a one-drink minimum rule and some highly organized match-making, the event sounds like a fun way of socializing.

Valentine’s Day! Galactic Love Tree

The BYOB classes are intended for adult painters, although they will permit painters aged 15-18 if accompanied by an adult. You must be at least 21 to consume alcohol in the studio. Younger painters can participate in All Ages classes & private parties!

This year, Jonathan Kite can be seen starring in the film “Needle Little Christmas,” with Sara Waisglass and Thomas Lenon, which he is producing and in which he also makes his feature screenwriting debut. This concert is presented by Dale Watson & His Lone Stars at Gruene Hall. The doors open at 7 pm and the show starts at 8 pm. Dale Watson is an Austin-based honky-tonker who carries on in the tradition of Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson with his “Ameripolitan” brand of American roots music. He has been touring for over 20 years and has played on The Late Show with David Letterman, Austin City Limits, and The Sun Sessions. Tickets are available online.
