The Wildflower Center is about to get prehistoric! Starting May 9, fifteen life-size, gigantic Ice Age mammals, including a 17,500-pound woolly mammoth, will take up residence throughout the gardens for a summer-long run.

Come face-to-face with a saber-toothed cat, a dire wolf, a woolly rhinoceros, and more as you wander the native plant gardens. New weekly Quest of the Week challenges keep every visit fresh, and a small general admission fee gets you through the door.

World Cup Watch Party at the French Legation July 1st

Gather on the historic grounds of the French Legation for an exciting outdoor screening of the FIFA World Cup playoffs.

Spend your day cooling off with waterpark attractions opening at 11:00 AM, then grab a special BBQ sandwich and cold drinks to enjoy as you relax before the excitement builds. 

As the sun dips below the horizon, keep the party going with live music starting at 7:00 PM, followed by a spectacular fireworks show from 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM that perfectly illuminates the lake.
