Join us for HESED 2021’s “No jUStice without US,” on March 5-6th. Virtual HESED 2021 aims to gather justice-minded people, activists, believers, and potential allies not only to define the injustices Brown and Black communities experience but more importantly to imagine together what justice should look like for marginalized people.
This year’s theme, “No jUStice without US,” addresses the absence of lifegiving justice for people of color in the United States. As attested from the brutal death of George Floyd, ICE raids of immigrants, and Covid-19 deaths, people of color have faced one injustice after another, from racial to economic to health to housing to food, etc.
Attendees will listen to keynote speaker Dr. Leonard Moore, attend workshop sessions, and hear a moderated panel by Dr. Asante Todd to discuss these complex and important topics. Dr. Claudio Carvalhaes will close out with a special worship service for attendees so that they are invigorated and renewed in their justice work moving forward.
Please pass along to your home churches, friends, and family—all are welcome to attend this important and timely virtual conference from the comforts of their own homes.
