From Zilker Park to Bastrop and everything in between, there are some wonderful Christmas tree-lighting events in Austin that you should look out for this year. So bundle up, head out with your family and friends, and kick off the season right.

Feel the Christmas spirit come alive at the Lost Pines Christmas Tree Lighting Party!

Their holiday tree lighting event will kick off the rest of the Christmas festivities. Catch it at Fisherman’s Park and even expect a special visit from the big man in red.

The next days after that, there will be the Farm Street Opry, a country Christmas, and the Lost Pines Christmas Lighted Parade. Get ready for days of merry fun!

Tree Lighting in Hutto

Kick off the festivities at Hutto with their annual Christmas tree lighting event!

Before the main event, you can enjoy kids crafts, letters to Santa, entertainment, and photos with Santa. The Christmas tree lighting will wrap up the evening and make sure everyone heads home in good spirits.

Get ready to feel the holiday spirit with the largest man-made holiday tree in Austin!

Standing at 155 feet tall, the tree is made of over 3000 lights and built on one of Austin’s 17 historic moontowers. Access to the holiday tree is free and separate from the Trail of Lights admission.

Aside from the spectacular lighting of the tree, there will be food vendors and other merchants at the site to make sure you really feel the cheer of the holiday season.

Join the community and watch in awe as the Driskill Hotel lights up their holiday tree. Revel in the festive tunes of the Chalumeau Clarinet Quartet, raise a champagne glass for a toast, and meet St. Nick!

As you bask in the warm ambiance and enjoy lively entertainment, seize the opportunity to snag some goodies like Driskill cookie tins, artisan candles, and this year’s Driskill ornament.

Proceeds from this event will be contributed to the Statesman’s Seasons for Caring Fund.

The event of Austin fourth of July fireworks is sponsored by the Georgetown Sertoma Club with assistance from the City of Georgetown. Activities will include live entertainment starting at noon. The festival also includes arts and crafts vendors, food vendors beer and wine vendors, a petting zoo, classic and antique cars, games, and rides for children and adults. The event concludes with a fireworks show at about 9:30 p.m.
