Looking for restaurants open on New Year’s Day in Austin? Read On!

New Year’s is the one time during the holidays when you want to grab a bite of your favorite food, enjoy with good company and shake off the food coma induced by the festive season. But with everyone pining for a well earned break before closing the year, many restaurants, fast food outlets and cafes close early or operate at reduced hours. 

Luckily, there are a list of places that remain open through the holidays to serve you the best culinary experience the city has to offer. We’ve collated those names, hours and any other relevant details right here for your convenience!

Restaurants Open New Years Day 2023 in Austin 

Acre 41

Open from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.


Bar Peached

Open on New Year’s Day from 11 AM – 2:30 PM & 5 PM – 9 PM.


Cidercade Austin

Open from 10 am – 12 am.


Five Guys

Opens at 11 AM – 10 PM for business and in-store pick-ups, but hours may vary by location.


Home Slice Pizza

Open from 11 AM to 11 PM for dine-in and take-out.


Jack Allen’s Kitchen

Open from 10:30 AM – 9 PM but hours might differ depending on location


Juliet Italian Kitchen

Open from 11:00 am – 9:00 pm on New Year’s Day, unless announced otherwise.


Kerbey Lane Cafe – Central

Open from 7 AM to 10 PM unless announced otherwise.


 

Matt’s El Rancho

Expected to be open from 11 AM to 9 PM. Some outlets might be closed.


Moonshine Patio Bar & Grill

Open on New Year’s Day from 10 am – 9 pm


Tittaya’s Thai Cuisine

Closed on New Year’s Day.


Torchy’s Taco

Most Torchy’s are open from 89 AM to 10 PM.


Trudy’s

Open from 11 am – 10 pm on New Year’s Day. Confirm local timings with your preferred outlet.


 

 

 

Restaurants Open New Years Day 2023 in Austin – Fast Food Joints

Carl’s Jr

Although hours may vary, they open from 7 am to 10 pm at most outlets.


Chuy’s

Open from 11 am to 9 pm on New Year’s Day.


Chipotle

Opens at 10:45 am and closes at 10 pm at most locations.


Chick-fil-A

Closed on New Year’s Day.


Dunkin Donuts

Open 5 am -10 pm. Hours vary by location.


Freebirds

Most locations are open from 10:30 AM to 9:30 PM


Hopdoddy’s

Open from 11 AM to 10 PM.


 

KFC

Open from 11 AM to 11 PM. Hours vary by location.


McDonald’s

Open from 6 am – 10 pm.


Pizza Hut

Open from 11 AM to 10 PM. Hours vary by location.


Taco Bell

Open from 11 am – 12 am.


Starbucks

Open from 6 AM to 3 PM on New Year’s Day. Hours may change with locations.
