As we all get ready for the holiday blitz, it’s important to start making plans now for New Year’s Eve: the biggest night of the year for hitting the town to eat, drink and be merry. New Year’s Eve is just around the corner, and there are loads of top restaurants open in Austin on New Year’s Eve.

It’s not just important to know whether restaurants are open. A lot of restaurants operate with reduced hours. Don’t worry though, we have you covered! Whatever your budget or favorite cuisine may be, you’re sure to find something here for your New Year’s Eve celebration.

Austin Restaurants Open New Years Eve 2023

Acre 41

Open from 7:00 AM to 10:30 PM for breakfast, lunch and a prix fixe set dinner at $75 per person. No a la carte items are available for dinner. Reserve a table in advance here.

Bar Peached

Open from 5-11PM on New Year’s Day.

Cidercade Austin 

Open from 10 AM to 6:30 PM on New Year’s Eve.

Jack Allen’s Kitchen

*Staff Update: Closed until 4th January.

Juliet Italian Kitchen

Opens at 11:30 am and closes at 10 pm on NYE.

Kerbey Lane Cafe – Central

Open from 7 AM to 10 PM unless announced otherwise.

Home Slice Pizza

Open from 11 AM to 10 PM for dine-in and take-out.

Tittaya’s Thai Cuisine

Open from 11 AM to 9:30 PM as per usual hours–unless announced otherwise.

Trudy’s

Open from 11 am to 11 pm on New Year’s Eve. Also serving special cocktails from 3-6 PM.

Torchy’s Taco

Most Torchy’s are open from 8 AM to 11 PM.

Moonshine Patio Bar & Grill

Open regular hours (11 AM-10 PM) on New Year’s Eve.

Austin Restaurants Open on New Years Eve 2023 – Fast Food

Burger King

Open till 9 PM on New Year’s Eve. Some outlets might be closed.

Carl’s Jr

Open til 11 PM at most locations.

Chuy’s

Open from 11 am to 10 pm on New Year’s Eve. 

Chipotle

Opens at 10:45 am and closes at 10 pm at most locations. 

Chick-fil-A

Open from 6:30 am to 10:00 PM. Hours vary by location.

Dunkin Donuts

Open 5 am -10 pm. Hours vary by location.

Freebirds

Most locations are open from 10:30 AM to 9:30 PM 

Hopdoddy’s

Open from 11 AM to 11 PM.

Home Slice Pizza 

Open from 11 AM to 10 PM for dine-in and take-out. 

Five Guys

Opens at 11 AM for business and in-store pick ups, but hours may vary by location. 

KFC

Open from 10:30 AM to 11 PM. Hours vary by location.

McDonald’s

Open 24 hours at some locations.

Pizza Hut

Open from 11 AM to 9 PM. Hours vary by location. 

Taco Bell

All outlets are expected to be open but hours change with locations. Check with your local outlet before you go. 

Starbucks

Open from 7 AM to 2 PM on New Year’s Eve. Hours may change with locations.
