1. Little Woodrow’s West 6th

Little Woodrow’s, a must-stop lowkey sports bar in Austin, and has plenty of TVs and tacos to go around. Locals give this place a high recommendation and suggest arriving soon rather than later if you want to skip the crowd! You can discover all your local beers originating from Austin, Houston, and San Antonio. Can’t make it to the Austin location? No worries, they have six additional locations!

Located in West Campus, Caine and Abel’s is a college favorite sports bar in Austin. A college staple for some and too university-centric for others. They offer the best cheap drinks and delicious burgers!

6. Black Sheep Lodge

In the mood for a crowd? Black Sheep is an outdoor beer and garden that serves over 120 bottles and taps, with fans ranting and raving. Fall is the perfect time for hearty food. Try their black sheep chili paired with one of their daily drink specials. One-of-a-kind and a locally owned favorite, this spot is one of the best sports bars in Austin!

7. Lavaca Street Bar

They have three locations in South Lamar, Downtown, and Rock Rose Avenue. Lavaca Street Bar is a 21+ only establishment so, on your way to Happy Hour and Gameday buckets, you might want to leave the kids at home, although there is a small exception. Although, not for kids, but for dogs. Bring your furry friend to Lavaca for the Howl-o-ween puppy picture contest!

8. The Tavern

A rare find, this German-influenced sports bar offers over 30 TVs to enjoy the game. The Tavern has mouth-watering recipes like their Mahomes fries, served with KC BBQ brisket, and the Emily’s Ghost Burger, an all-beef patty with poblanos, corn relish, and jack cheese, topped with ghost pepper sauce. This Tavern is a must if you’re going solo or in a group!

A trendy sports bar with a local vibe and the only jukebox in town. TVs are first come, first serve, so be prepared to nudge some elbows! Try their signatures drinks like the porch swing, a Blue Owl Sour Session Wheat with a Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka float, or the Workhorse margarita made with Paula’s Texas Orange, freshly squeezed lime, and agave nectar.
