17th Annual Bat Fest

17th Annual Bat Fest at Congress Avenue Bridge

17TH ANNUAL BAT FEST

Bats may be terrifying to some people but they’re actually true wonders of nature and there’s nothing like it seeing their emergence in unison from their caves. It’s beautiful, terrifying, and at the same time wonderful. This Saturday, you can get to see 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bats emerging from under the bridge at dusk. In addition to that, there will also be live music featuring Toadies, Reverend Horton Heat, The Unlikely Candidates, Fetty Wap, Lil Flip, The Nixons, Bun B, and DJ Shaynea. There will also be vendors, children’s activities, a bat costume contest, and other bat activities.
