Bayou City Entertainment is back in 2022 with their 3rd annual Valentine’s Comedy Show featuring SrslyMelissa and Friends and boy do the jokes promise to land! The tickets retail for $28 a piece and the venue will also serve coffee and soft drinks. It’s a great date idea if you want to keep things casual or don’t want to put a dent in your pocket.

Have a relaxing Spa Day

A $40 ticket to the event covers a guided wine tasting with an experienced instructor, five wines, appetisers and a nicely tuned ambience.

Try Speed Dating For Singles

It might just be your year of venturing out on a speed dating exercise that ends in a good match. This pre-Valentine’s Day speed dating event for 30-50 year old singletons promises some drinking, some dancing and a series of romantic rotations. Besides a one drink minimum rule and some highly organised match-making, the event actually sounds like a fun way of socialising.

Thought provokingly, there’s a band in yellow for those in the “It’s Complicated” zone.

Blue Starlite accommodates an intimate gathering of about twenty cars, so be sure to make your bookings and pick your location ahead of time.

Kerbey Lane Cafe

This local eatery which specialises in fresh and wholesome meals made from scratch has multiple outlets across Austin. The South Lamar location is open all the way up to midnight, all days of the week. Additionally, their pet friendly patio is a welcome bonus.

*Staff Note: Most other Kerbey Lane locations shut down much earlier, at 3 PM, so make sure you’ve pinned the right one before heading over.
