When you see a gentlemen biking through Austin in a beige colored g-string and you don’t do a double take, is when you know you’re a true Austinite. In Austin, we see some crazy things: dogs being pushed in baby strollers, hipster beards for days, festivals for everything and endless tacos. So many tacos….
In the spirit of “a picture’s worth a thousand words,” check out these posts from Twitter and Instagram, all of which sum up Austin beautifully.
#1 Workplace satisfaction surveys are a little bit different here.

#4 Austin dogs are so well behaved; you can put a potato chip on their head while they stare at your doughnut cheeseburger.
#5 And they get REALLY into festival fashion.
#6 We’re in the Live Music Capital of the World, and sometimes we just need to rock out on our vans.

#12 A yogi posing in front of wall art? Yeah… that’s pretty darn Austin.
#13 We like apps that help get us home safely after a night of partying on Rainey Street. But we’ll take a horse, cowboy style, too.
