PRIDE IN LOCAL MUSIC FESTIVAL

The Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce brings you the third annual “Pride in Local Music,” a one-day-only event celebrating the rainbow heartbeat of Central Texas which is known for it’s unique music scene.

Featuring a line-up of Central Texas locals who support the LGBTQIA community, musical performances by local bands and other celebrities will make this an event like no other. Proceeds from this event go to the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce Education Fund,

Join Waterloo Greenway and other community partners as they celebrate Pride Month with a free family-friendly Pride Festival & Celebration with live music, dance and drag performances from local artists and performers, and interactive exhibits from Austin’s LGBTQIA+ nonprofits, small businesses, and gender affirming/sexual health service providers.

AISD Pride Week 2022

Every year, to celebrate LGBTQIA+ students, staff and families AISD Pride Week 2022, a time to highlight the district’s commitment to creating a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.This year’s weeklong celebration is March 21-26, which aligns with the National LGBT Health Awareness Week.Each campus will receive an inspiration guide of suggested activities for PRIDE Week. Campuses are encouraged to plan activities that engage, educate and inspire. If you have any questions regarding planning activities or for assistance in selecting resources that best fit your school community, please contact your campus GSA coordinator or campus counselor.Pride Swag—Students and staff, during the week of March 21-25, please visit your campus front office to pick up Pride and Ally stickers, posters, flags, pronoun buttons and more!Austin ISD Pride Week Themes
