Mueller in Northeast Austin started 10 years ago as a 700-acre community. It has grown into a thriving, developed neighborhood. With public parks, farmers’ markets, and some of Austin’s hottest businesses, Mueller has it all.
It’s about time someone created a bar crawl guide for the expanding Mueller neighborhood. The Austin spots on this list are nestled within a small, walkable area on the east side of I-35, in the main Mueller development.
1/ Barrel O’ Fun at Alamo Drafthouse Mueller
The new Barrel O’ Fun bar is more than deserving of its name! Choose between 45 beer taps and the soda fountain-themed cocktail menu (with an emphasis on barrel-aged offerings). Whatever it is you like, swing by for a drink or two to feel like a kid again.
Note that Barrel O’ Fun is kid-friendly only until 8 p.m. After that, it’s grown-up party time!
