Tray Wheeler’s Bio
I was born and raised in good ole’ Miami Florida. I leaped up to school in the ever exciting Sarasota, Florida where I got my degree in Illustration from the mighty Ringling College of Art and Design. Ever since I was a young pup I’ve always felt different from my peers. Though as an adult I have managed my way through it (with the help of the LGBT community), when I was young it was extremely difficult for me to connect with others. I thought it would be important to help the same types of weird little kids as I. Writing children’s books for those who feel left out, odd, or different feels almost like my duty. Since I myself felt this way growing up, always wishing I had a few more off-beat characters I could relate to in kids books, I’ve taken it upon myself to create those unsuspected heroes.
