Shipe Pool Party and Movie Night at Shipe Neighborhood Park

SHIPE POOL PARTY AND MOVIE NIGHT

To celebrate summertime and the start of a new pool season, Friends of Shipe Park are hosting a Pool Party and Movie Night! The event is free, and all neighbors and friends are invited!  The Pool Party (5 to 8 p.m.) will include treats from Quack’s 43rd Street Bakery and Casey’s New Orleans Snowballs, food trucks, beach balls, and other pool activities! DJ Kelly D Beats will be on hand to provide music. There’s even a toy raffle for the kids! Following the Pool Party, we will be showing a family-friendly movie in the field. The movie will start at dusk (around 8:20 p.m.). Neighbors are encouraged to bring blankets, folding chairs, bug spray, snacks and other movie-watching accessories.
