If you’re like me, you love homemade arts and crafts that are unlike anything you’ve ever seen.
Maybe you love the prospect of gifting a loved one with a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry. Maybe the home decor item that made you feel love at first sight is the perfect expression of who you are and what makes your home feel like home.
Local artisans can work magic like that. They’re motivated by love of their craft, not corporate policy or the need to mass-produce, and their imagination is boundless.
This Saturday (tomorrow) at the Palmer Events Center, a huge group of artistic individuals will all be gathered in one place. The Austin Craft Riot runs from 11 AM-7 PM and it’s the perfect opportunity for you to indulge your own creative eye and support local creatives.
Feel free to bring your whole family. There will be a children’s area and free craft activities that allow you to learn from local artists.
A huge thank you to Austin Craft Riot for being a sponsor of The Austinot. We love what you’re doing and support you, as you support us! To our community, encourage these artisans in their passions whenever you can by purchasing beautiful pieces that you love.
Finally, remember that this short article is only a supplement to our podcast episode. There is much more information in our episode, including tips on special craft pieces you don’t want to miss! Click “play” on the player at the top of this article to listen to the Austinot Podcast.
