Texas Parks and Wildlife is facilitating the Boating Safety Education course that is required by Texas law. It’s taking place on Saturday and you can hear all the details by listening to our podcast episode. It’s recommended that your register ahead, and the contact for that is Tim Spice at (512) 389-8141.
Austin Power Squadron will be teaching two courses over the weekend. “Boat Handling Under Power” takes place today, and “Using Marine GPS” takes place on Sunday. The contact number for Austin Power Squadron is (512) 343-BOAT.
