Movies in the Park Series in Austin – Soul

Soul: PG | 1 hour 40 minutes

Soul introduces Joe Gardner – a middle-school band teacher who gets the chance of a lifetime to play at the best jazz club in town. But one small misstep takes him from the streets of New York City to The Great Before – a fantastical place where new souls get their personalities, quirks and interests before they go to Earth.


Movies in the Park is a series of free films brought to you by Austin Parks Foundation (APF). This year, APF is partnering with Rocket to Cinema to bring you free movies in parks all over Austin. Residents and visitors bring their blanket or lawn chairs for a fun and relaxing evening under the beautiful Austin night sky.

Dogs, picnics and lawn chairs are welcome. Alcoholic beverages, glass and styrofoam are not permitted in the park. Recyling bins are provided, but the public is requested to help out by packing out all of your own trash. Smoking is also prohibited in the park, per city law.


When: November 18, 2022, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Where: Mueller Lake Park, Austin, Texas

Set in a beautiful seaside town on the Italian Riviera, Disney and Pixar’s original feature film “Luca” is a coming-of-age story about one young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer filled with gelato, pasta and endless scooter rides.

Residents and visitors bring their blanket or lawn chairs for a fun and relaxing evening under the beautiful Austin night sky.
