What You Need to Know About the Cook-off
Proceeds from this year’s Burnet BBQ Cook-off will help build a quick refill water station to benefit the Burnet County Volunteer Fire Departments.
Gates open at 9 AM Saturday morning and there will be a full day of activities. All attendees will want to be present at 5:30 PM, when the winners of the Cook-off are announced.
And what would a BBQ cook-off be without live music? So on Saturday night, at 8:30 PM, Texas Renegade and JB & The Moonshine Band will be taking the stage to conclude the festivities in style.

I’ll be out there! Hoping to go on both Fri & Sat, but it depends on how recovered I am from this yucky illness. I’ll support anything that benefits the Burnet VFD, as they are who my parents would call in case of fire st their small ranch in Burnet. It’ll be a fun & tasty event!
