Head out to Hill Country Galleria this weekend and enjoy holiday shopping with the beautiful outdoor ambiance of the place!
They have transformed the Central Plaza into one of the most beautiful places for holiday market shopping where you can shop jewelry, home goods, art, and holiday fare. Here, you can experience the wonderful outdoor ambiance filled with holiday cheer, holiday performances, glittering holiday lights, and plenty of family fun. The market will be open from Fridays to Saturdays.

Iron Wolf Christmas Tree Lighting
It’s that time of the year again and this year, Iron Wolf Ranch won’t get left behind when it comes to Austin tree lighting events.

Ballet Austin presents The Nutcracker

Watch and enjoy a wonderful Christmas classic with Ballet Austin’s performance of The Nutcracker this Saturday! From the scrumptious sets and costumes to the colorful characters, you’ll surely be delighted by the performance.
Hundreds of dancers are set to perform Stephen Mills’ enchanting choreography to Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s magical score with live accompaniment from the Austin Symphony Orchestra. So make sure you book your seats early!

Eat the World: Mexican Food
Celebrate the rich, beautiful, and colorful Mexican culture through their delectable dishes this weekend at the latest Eat the World event of the Austin Public Library!
Here, chefs from Common Threads will be putting on a cooking show for you showing how their mouthwatering food is made. And lucky you will be able to taste these dishes once they’re done. So don’t come full, okay?

SantaCon by Big Brothers Big Sisters

If you’re a big Santa fan and want to experience the same joy the father of Christmas gives others, why not dress up as him at SantaCon?
Here, participants can enjoy drink specials, merry-making, and networking at select venues along Rainey Street. Aside from having fun and merry-making, the event also serves as a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas which provides caring adult mentors for children who need them.

Fairmont Austin Tree Lighting
This year, Fairmont will also be joining in on all the Christmas tree lighting fun and they’ll be having their very own tree lighting which will benefit Dell Children’s Medical Center. While waiting for the main event, you can enjoy complimentary cookies and apple cider, and snap a photo with St. Nick for a $10 donation to Dell Children’s Medical Center.
That’s not all! The hotel will also open its “North Pole Nook” where children can write letters to Santa. While you’re there, don’t miss the 7th Floor Light show which is complete with sweeping views of downtown Austin.

The event will feature a special performance by the Westlake Madrigals chamber choir, sippable treats for grown ups, and sweets to satisfy the kiddos. Of course, we can’t forget about the grand lighting of a tree in the middle of the decked-out Texas Hill Country property.

Christmas Chili Cook-Off at Camp Lucy

To make the event a little livelier, there will also be live music from Shinglers, seasonal cocktails, photos with Santa, and a cheery holiday market. Make sure to come hungry so you can load up on all that good chili!
