They have transformed the Central Plaza into one of the most beautiful places for holiday market shopping where you can shop jewelry, home goods, art, and holiday fare. Here, you can experience the wonderful outdoor ambiance filled with holiday cheer, holiday performances, glittering holiday lights, and plenty of family fun. The market will be open from Fridays to Saturdays.

It’s that time of the year again and this year, Iron Wolf Ranch won’t get left behind when it comes to Austin tree lighting events.

Watch and enjoy a wonderful Christmas classic with Ballet Austin’s performance of The Nutcracker this Saturday! From the scrumptious sets and costumes to the colorful characters, you’ll surely be delighted by the performance.

Hundreds of dancers are set to perform Stephen Mills’ enchanting choreography to Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s magical score with live accompaniment from Austin Symphony Orchestra. So make sure you book your seats early!

Eat the World: Mexican Food

Here, participants can enjoy drink specials, merry-making, and networking at select venues along Rainey Street. Aside from having fun and merry-making, the event also serves as a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas which provides caring adult mentors for children who need them.

Fairmont Austin Tree Lighting

This year, Fairmont will also be joining in on all the Christmas tree lighting fun and they’ll be having their very own tree lighting which will benefit Dell Children’s Medical Center. While waiting for the main event, you can enjoy complimentary cookies and apple cider, and snap a photo with St. Nick for a $10 donation to Dell Children’s Medical Center.

That’s not all! The hotel will also open its “North Pole Nook” where children can write letters to Santa. While you’re there, don’t miss the 7th Floor Light show which is complete with sweeping views of downtown Austin.

Christmas Chili Cook-Off at Camp Lucy
