The Baddie Bash: Celebrating One Year of Brewskies and Baddies

It’s been a whole year of epic performances and electrifying music. To celebrate, Brewskies and Baddies is inviting you to The Baddie Bash!

The celebrations start with a vendor market at 1 pm. Then, the real party starts at 2 pm with a fabulous drag brunch hosted by Tara Cotta, Miss Gay Austin TX US of A.

Resident cast members, Venus Rising and Yvonne D’Amour, will take the stage and light up the day with jaw-dropping performances. Lavander Thug will provide the beats to keep you grooving all day long.

Start Black History Month with an awesome block party! This Solar Saturday, George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center is inviting you for a free afternoon of fun events in a lot of their spaces. Engage in interactive arts and crafts!

The gallery will be open, vinyl records will play all afternoon, and a vendor market will pop up! The sketch will close out the day with a musical performance.

The Love of China School of Dance is hosting a fun Lunar New Year Festival, complete with performances, craft vendors, and food and beverage booths! Come and celebrate the beginning of the Year of the Snake.

Lunar New Year Celebration

You’re in for a mega Lunar New Year celebration at the Fo Guang Shan Xiang Yun Temple. Join in the New Year’s Chanting Service and check out a variety of cultural booths and a vegetarian food sale.

It’s never too late and you’re never too young to set your goals. This event will empower kids six to twelve years old to think of their future through an exciting activity, board breaking!

Here, they will learn how to set meaningful goals and how to achieve them. They’ll engage in activities that will develop their focus, perseverance, and self-belief, as well.

Lastly, they’ll get to break a wooden board as a symbol for breaking through challenges.

Hill Country Flyer

All aboard the Hill Country Flyer! Austin Steam Train Association’s most popular route and signature ride departs from their Cedar Park Depot and is their longest round trip, coming in at 66 miles! There will be a two-hour layover at Burnet where you’ll get to eat lunch and shop.
