Get ready to celebrate with the 3rd Annual Teresa Lozano Long Community Day! You’ll find community partners, exciting activities, and lively performances all over the building.

The fun continues with KIDosky crafts and games from Creative Action, along with the thrilling BubblePalooza presented by H-E-B. There will also be live music and plenty of food trucks.

H-E-B Free First Sunday: Space

Experience an awesome, gravity-defying adventure at the Bullock Museum! On the first Sunday of the month, the museum offers free admission and a day packed with fantastic activities.

This Sunday, you can get hands-on with a variety of space-themed activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Listen to a space storytime with the Austin Public Library, and check out awesome demonstrations and activities with a NASA Ambassador. You and the kids can also participate in a Solar System Walk, make a bracelet with Starry Sky Austin, and explore a mobile planetarium with the Texas State Astronomy Club.

Rowing Dock’s Afterhours Moonlight Paddle

Grab a kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddleboard and head out on the water after hours to catch the sunset. Get to watch the moon rise (cloud-cover permitting) and see the city light up for the night.

Walk-up rentals are available all evening, so you can join anytime you’d like. But be sure to arrive with plenty of time, as the last boat launches at 7:30 pm, with all vessels needing to be off the water by 8:30 pm.

Rowing Dock will provide each boat with a light, but you’re welcome to bring your own glow-in-the-dark gear to make your night even more radiant.
