Quixotic States: An immersive sunset performance of dance and sound

You are invited to an extraordinary outdoor dance performance, Quixotic States, on the iconic Zilker Hillside Theatre. Take your place on stage and watch the dancers perform live choreography as they move across the landscape like a living mirage, with Andrea Chiba playing a grounding sound bath in the background.

While the show is free, donations are appreciated to help keep the arts accessible. Those who support the event with a donation will be invited to Before the Mirage, an exclusive pre-show experience featuring reflective prompts, a photo activity, and refreshing seasonal drinks.

Pride in Local Music

Celebrate the vibrant heartbeat of Austin’s music scene at the 6th Annual Pride in Local Music event! This evening is dedicated to showcasing local LGBTQIA+ artists and supporting the creative community.

While you enjoy performances from a diverse lineup of musicians, you can also support the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) by making a donation at the door, which enters you into a special giveaway.

A portion of the proceeds also benefits the Austin LGBT Chamber Education Fund, providing scholarships to students who are making a positive impact in their communities.

Centroamericanto Fest

Dive into a two-day cultural explosion at the 17th annual Centroamericanto Fest! Kicking things off on Friday, September 19th, is the Central American Film night, which features the premiere of the Salvadoran movie “Nunca Es Tarde.”

An exclusive meet-and-greet and Q&A session with producer and actress Cristina Melendez will then follow. Also screening are the Costa Rican documentary “Buscando el Swing” and several Salvadoran short films, with Oscar-winning producer André Grettfreund in attendance for a Q&A session.

On Saturday, the fun continues with a vibrant music concert and vendor fair where you can browse unique goods and traditional food from local artisans.
